Amanda Methe, RT

Licensed Radiologic Technologist

My name is Amanda Methe. I live in my hometown of Ludlow, MA. I'm fluent in Portuguese - I truly get excited when I get the opportunity to speak to patients in their native tongue. My husband, Jared, and I love anything that involves the outdoors, photography, brewing beer, home renovation projects, and cooking together. We enjoy traveling and immersing ourselves in different cultures.

I graduated from Holyoke Community College where I obtained my Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences in 2011. I completed my clinical internship at Holyoke Hospital and Mercy Medical Center. After completing my schooling, I worked at Riverbend Medical Group performing plain film x-rays and bone density exams. In 2014, I was cross-trained in Vascular and Interventional Radiology (VIR). We start with diagnostic images and, when indicated, perform minimally invasive treatments during the same visit. As a result of the ever-evolving advancements in the VIR, it has given patients a day-stay treatment option with minimal blood loss, less risks, less pain, and short recovery times as compared to a traditional surgical approach. I want my patients to know that each patient will be in the best hands and receive personalized high-level care.
