Jessica Carter, BSN, RN
I was born and raised in Western Massachusetts. I graduated in 2006 from Elms College with a BSN in nursing and soon after started working in neurology/intermediate care at Baystate Hospital. After a few years under my belt, I decided to try out traveling nursing, which landed me in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. There, I worked as a float nurse in various specialties and had the opportunity to experience the southern hospitality. Once I returned back to Western Mass, I returned to the neurology/intermediate care unit at Baystate Hospital for a few more years. In 2012, I started working in nephrology/dialysis at a local outpatient dialysis facility. Most recently, I joined the NEEC team, about which I am beyond thrilled!
I have a 5-year-old daughter who keeps me busy with sports and her numerous activities, and I have an 8-year-old Boxer, named Gabbana. In my free time, I love the beach, hanging out by the fire with friends and family, watching sports (especially New England teams), celebrating EVERY holiday and attending country concerts!
